Yesterday, my son turned 21! Yes, 21! And I made a mistake. Every April book, usually comes out on his birthday and for some reason, I thought this year’s was the same. So I thought Hayden’s birthday was today, rather than yesterday. Good thing I worked out on Sunday that wasn’t the case!
So it’s today marks the day when Rising Dust heads out into the wild, for you all to read. Almost exactly thirteen years ago, Red Dust was being released. What a thirteen years! During this time, I’ve had two kids turn 21, I’ve got divorced, wrote books, travelled to research Rising Dust, brought DVassist to life. I wonder what the next thirteen years will hold? I’m hoping lots and lots of words.
I know I say this every time, but the nerves are pretty intense about now. I never know how a book will be received. All I can say is I hope you all enjoy the fifth in the Young Dave Burrow series.
I love creating books for you all, as much as I love agriculture and to be able to merge the two is such a privilege!
