When I first started writing back in 2006, amongst shitty nappies, projectile vomiting, sheep yards and looking after my terminally ill mother-in-law, I could never have foreseen I would write 29 novels.

… And I could remember my kids’ names and sit for hours at the computer without moving and focus at the same time; there might have been a bit of superwoman about me.

It has been a wild week! Not weather-wise, because normally if I say a week has been wild, it’s been windy and raining and freezing. Lovely winter weather. Yes, the weather has been a bit like that this last week, but I’m meaning work-wise!
