A week ago today, many women from many walks of life, got together to talk about and celebrate “finding love in the country”. And even though we are from different walks of life, what linked us together, is that we are from Rural and Remote areas. Both Fiona Palmer and I were lucky enough to be a part of it.
Across the great state of WA, simultaneously, a sundowner was held, for the girls who could physically get there and for those who couldn’t, social media played a huge role. I sat in front of my computer with a glass of wine and watched, all the while tweeting comments about the video.
The RRR network needs to be congratulated on all their hard work at connecting women across the land and special mention to Michelle Barrett, for putting this video together.
Today, I’m thrilled to be able to share it with you.
I may be on the other side of this great country but…. I hear you ladies. It took too many years for me to realise I needed to come home to the country to find the magic. thx for sharing this.
Is this connected to the QRRRWN – sounds similar?

I had a look at the website, BB and I think it might be. A state by state organisation, though.
